Otumfuo to Present Bawku Mediation Report to President Mahama on December 16

The Asantehene was tasked with leading the mediation process earlier in 2025, aiming to resolve the long-standing chieftaincy dispute in Bawku, which has been a catalyst for recurring violence. The peace process began in April with separate consultations between Otumfuo and representatives of rival factions, designed to build trust and confidence. The Ghana Armed Forces have also been proactive, enhancing security operations in Bawku to maintain law and order.
