But the plot thickens. Tyrique's bail had already elapsed, and the police had informed his solicitors, Tuckers, on November 15. However, Tuckers failed to relay this information to the family, leading them to believe Tyrique was still bound by the bail conditions.
The inquest revealed that Tyrique had been 'released under investigation,' a different legal status from being on bail. This distinction is crucial, as it may have contributed to the confusion surrounding his legal obligations.
On the day of his death, Tyrique was caught with a phone at school, which he claimed belonged to his brother.
