UK GDP Growth: A Deep Dive into Q4 2025 (2026)

The UK's GDP for the fourth quarter of 2025 saw a 0.1% increase, following a 0.1% rise in the previous quarter. This growth is reflected in a 1.0% increase in GDP compared to the same quarter a year ago. Compensation of employees increased by 1.4%, with employers' social contributions and wages and salaries both rising. Other income increased by 0.5%, and taxes less subsidies fell by 0.5%. Gross operating surplus of corporations grew by 1.7% in 2025. Real GDP per head fell by 0.1% in Quarter 4 2025 but was 0.6% higher compared to the same quarter a year ago.
